Overview

Are you a practical, hands-on professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining high-quality spaces? The Department of Biomedical Services (BMS) is seeking to recruit a Building Maintenance/Painter to help keep our research and office environments safe, functional, and visually appealing. The department is committed in supporting and developing our staff and opportunities which staff are encouraged to make the most of to enhance their personal and career development.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will carry out a wide range of maintenance and decorative tasks across our Biomedical Services facilities. From installing fixtures and fittings to refreshing laboratories and corridors with new paintwork and occasionally support the engineering team with fire alarm testing and contractor escorting. Your work will directly support world-class research and teaching.

Employment terms

This employment is full-time, permanent, 36.5 hours per week. We are advertising this post as a full-time position.
