Overview

In this role you will lead internationally recognized research in educational assessment and help grow OUCEA’s impact. You will teach, supervise, and develop the MSc in Educational Assessment, while securing external funding and guiding graduate students. You’ll contribute to Green Templeton College life and drive cross‑institution collaboration. This is a chance to shape policy-relevant research at the nexus of theory, practice, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct internationally leading research in educational assessment and attract external funding
  • Lead and contribute to the Oxford University Centre for Educational Assessment (OUCEA) activities
  • Teach, supervise and examine on the MSc in Educational Assessment; supervise DPhil students
  • Develop and lead international research in educational assessment and engage with college life at Green Templeton College
  • Collaborate with college and department to promote knowledge exchange and impact

  • International reputation for research in educational assessment
  • Proven track record in securing research funding and managing grants
  • Doctorate in a relevant discipline
  • High-quality postgraduate teaching expertise in educational assessment
  • Excellent collaborative and teamwork skills
  • Ability to engage with assessment-sector leaders for knowledge exchange
  • Leadership skills to direct a Masters course if required
