Overview
In this role you will conduct internationally excellent research in Japanese Law and Society, teach and supervise at undergraduate and graduate levels, and contribute to curriculum development and governance. You will split your time between the Nissan Institute of Japanese Studies and the Faculty of Law, engaging with the wider academic and policy community. You will address socio-legal topics focused on Japan, with opportunities to influence teaching, supervision, and research direction. This position offers a path to leadership within a vibrant interdisciplinary environment and a chance to shape scholarship on Japan at a global scale.
