Overview
Saïd Business School is seeking a highly organised and proactive Academic Events Coordinator to join our Academic Events Team, part of Faculty Services. This team supports faculty in delivering a wide range of research-driven events, from weekly seminars and subject-specific workshops to large-scale academic conferences and recruitment events. In this role, you will play a key part in coordinating seminars and research camps, while also supporting broader event delivery across the School. You will contribute to post-event evaluation and continuous improvement, working closely with colleagues across the School to ensure smooth, impactful events that reflect Oxford Saïd\\\’s values of academic excellence and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver seminars, research camps and other faculty-led events.
- Manage logistics including registrations, travel, catering and event materials.
- Maintain accurate databases of speakers and participants, and produce reports and evaluations.
- Support marketing and promotion of events in collaboration with internal teams.
- Monitor event budgets, process financial administration and maintain accurate records.
- Contribute to post-event evaluation and continuous improvement, working with colleagues to ensure events are delivered to high professional standards.

- You will have proven experience in organising and coordinating events, with excellent project and time-management skills and a sharp eye for detail.
- Highly organised, self-motivated and proactive, with strong communication skills and a confident, professional manner.
- A customer-focused approach and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
