Apprentice Communications and Events Administrator

Salary: Apprentice Grade 1 £26,686 pa

Description

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the University of Oxford as an Apprentice Communications and Events Administrator.

The successful applicant will primarily support the work of the Communications and Events Team in the Department of Engineering Science. We are responsible for the department website and staff intranet, organising a wide range of events and conferences, social media, and internal communications and engagement.

About The Apprenticeship

As part of this role, you will undertake an Apprenticeship with Abingdon & Witney College where you will complete a Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship.

For this apprenticeship, you will work at the Department of Engineering Science department in Oxford City Centre. As part of your apprenticeship, you will be required to attend 10 days of professional training at college.

In total, it will take 15 months to complete all elements of the apprenticeship, plus 3 months for your End Point Assessment (EPA), with support from the Department, University, and College throughout.

About You

You will be passionate about starting your career in Communications and Events and excited about the opportunity of becoming an apprentice at the University of Oxford. You may be starting your career or you may be looking for a career change with an interest in communications and events.

To complete the level 3 apprenticeship you will need to evidence passes at 9-4 or A*-C in GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent.

There are also government residency requirements for Apprenticeship funding which the Training Provider will be able to advise on.
