The University Of Nottingham Sport is currently undergoing an ambitious change and investment programme to further support our vision to deliver an outstanding student sporting offer and establish the University as the first choice for students wishing to combine a topâquality education with an outstanding sporting experience.
There is one permanent partâtime position of 22.5 hours per week, currently available at the David Ross Sports Village, as part of the frontâhouse team. Working hours: five days per week over a fixed rota. Monday â Wednesday 9.30amâ2pm; Saturday and Sunday 9.30amâ2pm.
Responsibilities
Take bookings by telephone or in person.
Collect and reconcile monies on reception whilst on duty.
Deal with enquiries, directing users and issuing hire equipment.
Handle membership enquiries and issue membership cards.
Check validity of users and deal with lost property.
Qualifications
Excellent telephone manner and ability to work calmly and professionally under pressure.
Experience in a customerâfocused role, managing cash handling and reconciliation processes.
Desirable experience working with computer booking systems.
Excellent communication and customer care skills; proactive and detailâoriented.
