Overview

Outdoor Sports Facilities Manager at the University of Nottingham, reporting to lead the delivery of the university\'s sporting programmes and events in sector-leading facilities.

Salary: £29,329 to £35,943 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Location: David Ross Sports Village, University Park.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for motivating, leading and coordinating a shared team of staff on a rota basis.
  • Maintain sector-leading standards of housekeeping, maintenance, health and safety, operational and quality management systems.
  • Deliver the university\'s sporting and events programmes, ensuring a first-class and welcoming environment for students and the wider community at all times.

Qualifications

  • ISRM/C and G Higher Professional Diploma or ISRM Sport and Recreation Management Certificate or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in sports facility operation and events delivery with the ability to motivate teams to achieve targets related to facility management, customer service and income generation.

Employment Type & Hours

  • Permanent, full-time role (averaging 36.25 hours per week).
  • Working on a rotational shift pattern; core hours 6:30am to 11:00pm; evenings, weekends and public holidays required.
