Role
Venues Supervisor (Mooch) - responsible for supporting the day‑to‑day operation of the student bar, Mooch, hosting activities such as quiz and karaoke, and providing great value drinks and food to customers in a stylish venue with a large outside terrace.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Assistant Venues Manager to ensure smooth operation of the venue.
- Support and develop the student staff team in delivering excellent customer service.
- Contribute to menu design and activity programming.
- Assist with staff training and development.
- Manage stock levels and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with licensing, health and safety, food hygiene and allergen requirements.
- Attend and complete nationally recognised training courses where applicable.
Qualifications
- Good level of experience within the hospitality industry.
- Experience leading a team and using initiative.
- Excellent communication skills.
Hours
University term time only, with minimal hours required out of term time by agreement.
