The predicted salary is between 29740 - 36446 £ per year.
Salary £29,740 to £36,446 per annum depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.
We are looking for a professional and proactive individual who will provide high quality, customer‑focused research support to our Research and Knowledge Exchange Service. You will work across a range of research activities, providing support in the preparation and submission of research grant applications and providing advice to academic and research staff. You will work through a Business Partner model delivering excellent service to the School. You will also be responsible for developing best practice in research operations procedures and ensuring implementation across the School.
With excellent administrative experience in a busy, customer‑focused environment, you will have excellent organisational skills and experience of financial systems and procedures.
Your working hours will be 36.25 hours per week. If you are interested in part‑time work (minimum 29 hours per week), we encourage you to apply. We may also consider job share arrangements. We offer hybrid working arrangements and a generous holiday entitlement of 27 days pro‑rata plus standard bank holidays and five university closure days including closure between Christmas and New Year.
Requirements:
- Advanced administrative experience working in a busy office environment in a research support or finance role.
- Ability to provide high‑quality, customer‑focused support and deliver excellent service to academic and research staff.
- Strong organisational skills, experience of financial systems and procedures.
