Salary £35,608 to £47,389 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Head of Research Integrity, Governance and Compliance and Research Governance team members to ensure research projects are managed in line with research governance policies and requirements of relevant research funders, the Heath Research Authority and the UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research, meeting the university’s legal and research governance requirements.
  • Lead the administration of research approval applications to ensure the necessary approvals and authorisations are obtained and recorded on information systems.
  • Work closely with the Research Governance and Compliance Manager and the Head of Research Integrity to provide recommendations on clinical research applications in line with the requirements of the Heath Research Authority and the UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research.
  • Support the Research Governance and Compliance Manager with adherence to Clinical Trials legislation and other regulations governing clinical research as set by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and/or the Health Research Authority (HRA).

Your working hours will be 36.25 hours per week.
