The University of Nottingham invites applications for a fully funded PhD studentship titled Hidden Pest-Pathogen Alliances: Unravelling the Mechanisms of Aphid-Fungal Cooperation on Wheat. You will join a cohort of researchers tackling complex interactions between pests and pathogens in cereals.

Under the supervision of Prof Rumiana Ray and colleagues, the project blends plant pathology, chemical ecology, molecular biology, metabolomics and bioinformatics to reveal mechanisms.
