We are looking to appoint a HR Shared Services Assistant to join our friendly and supportive Employment Support Services team. This customer-focused role involves day-to-day transactional and advisory support to all staff across numerous HR activities, including dealing with customers over the phone and via email.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day transactional and advisory support to staff across numerous HR activities.
- Maintain high levels of attention to detail and accuracy in a data entry or administrative capacity.
- Resiliently handle high-volume requests, adaptively solve problems, and actively seek opportunities to improve customer service and processes.
- Gain HR experience covering the full employee life cycle, from inducting new hires to processing leavers.
- Work in a hybrid model, typically 2–3 days per week on campus.
Qualifications
- Strong team player with a passion for excellent customer service.
- Positive, pro‑active, flexible approach and willingness to learn new skills.
- GCSEs in English and Math (C/4 or above) or equivalent.
Term
This is a fixed‑term post for 12 months (36.25 hours per week). Arrangements for job share will be considered.
