Salary £25,073 to £28,108 per annum pro‑rata. Posts will initially be offered at the minimum salary point with progression to the higher salary point achieved through an annual incremental pay rise.

We are looking for an experienced and customer focussed Housekeeping Supervisor to join the Halls Management Team on either University Park or Jubilee Campus. Working within the Halls Management Team you will manage large teams of Housekeeping Assistants and oversee the day‑to‑day running of the Halls Housekeeping/cleaning function. Main duties include staff management, monitoring and maintaining cleaning standards in bedrooms and public spaces, identifying areas for service improvement, and all aspects of line managing a team of direct reports. You will also order and maintain linen, chemical and equipment stock levels and monitor the care of equipment within the unit.
Candidates should be customer focussed, have previous staff supervision or management experience and work experience gained within a similar role at a similar level. Candidates must also be able to demonstrate an excellent knowledge of industry recognised cleaning techniques and have experience of stock management.

Hours of work are either 24 or 30 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 (including regular weekends) with hours worked between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm. The successful candidate will be expected to attend the Estates and Facilities training courses which run Monday to Friday mornings. Further details will be given at interview.
