We are seeking an experienced and motivated Governance Manager with a passion for delivering high-quality governance services and driving continuous improvement. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong transferable skills who is looking to develop their expertise in governance and broaden their understanding of the higher education sector.

In this role, you will:
- Provide professional governance business partnering support to a range of University committees.;
- Manage the delivery of high-quality committee services, including the preparation of agendas, papers, minutes, and meeting logistics;
- Contribute to the development and delivery of governance guidance, resources, and training materials;
- Develop a strong understanding of a specific area of University activity and become a trusted source of governance advice and support;
- Support the continual improvement of governance processes and practices across the University.
What are we looking for?
You will be a highly organised and proactive individual with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. You will be comfortable managing competing priorities, working flexibly, and building effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate:
- Experience of committee servicing, including agenda preparation and minute taking;
- A sound understanding of the importance of effective governance and decision-making processes;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively;
- A collaborative approach and a commitment to delivering a high-quality business partnering service.

This is a permanent, full-time post (36.25 hours per week).
