We are inviting applications for a Finance Assistant to join the Buyers Team supporting the University’s purchasing and finance functions.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact in the Buyers Team.
- Convert requisitions into purchase orders for goods and services, including travel bookings and other purchasing activities.
- Provide finance‑related support and advice to staff and students via Teams and email.
- Perform purchase‑order housekeeping activities.
- Adhere to budgeting, policy, and timelines to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Interest in finance; prior finance experience is not essential – full training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time and prioritise tasks.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with staff and students from diverse backgrounds.
