About the Role/Team
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking people, who have a keen eye for detail and excellent customer service skills who will take pride in their work and who enjoy cleaning in a variety of areas. Based at the new clinical space at Pharmacy/Psychology and possibly other areas within the University, main duties include the general cleaning of offices, clinical rooms, laboratories, toilets, corridors, and stairwells providing excellent customer service at all times.
Previous cleaning experience gained within a similar environment and the ability to work independently and as part of a team is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. The role can be physically demanding but lifting aids and full training will be provided.
Hours of work: 15 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 to be arranged, Monday to Friday between the hours 6-9.00am, (flexibility will be required) with expectation to support on weekends on occasions and as per business needs. This position is offered on a permanent basis, working throughout the full calendar year, 52-weeks of the year (including outside of term and student vacation periods) while also being eligible for an additional 15% pay allowance for hours worked on weekends.
