The predicted salary is between 25353 - 26379 £ per year.
Salary £25,353 to £26,379 per annum based on a 36.25-hour contract / pro rata if applicable. Posts are initially offered at the minimum salary point £13.45 per hour, with progression to the higher salary point, £13.99 per hour through annual incremental pay rise.
Your role as a Cleaner:
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking people, who have a keen eye for detail and excellent customer service skills who will take pride in their work and who enjoy cleaning in a variety of areas. Based at the George Green Library and other areas within the University Park Campus, the main duties include the general cleaning of library areas, offices, laboratories, toilets, corridors, and stairwells providing excellent customer service at all times.
Previous cleaning experience gained within a similar environment and the ability to work independently and as part of a team is desirable but not essential as full training will be given. This role will include frequent lifting and moving of a range of items. The role can be physically demanding but lifting aids and full training will be provided.
Position Available:
- Weekday Post: Hours of work 15 hours per week (5 days of 7 to be arranged per week/ mainly Monday to Friday) between 6.00am - 9.00am. Flexibility will be required.
This is a permanent position on a rolling contract, required to be worked throughout the full year 52 weeks, to include out of term/student vacation periods.

Recruitment Process:
Successful candidates will be expected to attend induction training courses which will run each month, Monday to Friday on University Park Campus. Further details will be given at interview. The interviews for these posts are informal and will take no longer than 20 minutes.
