Posts are initially offered at the minimum salary point Β£13.45 per hour, with progression to the higher salary point, Β£13.99 per hour through annual incremental pay rise. About The Role And Team

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking people, who take pride in their work and enjoy working in fast paced Catering Environments and who have excellent customer service skills to join our teams at Campus Bars. Based within one of the busy Campus Bars on University Park main duties will include serving a range of food and beverages, cash handling and general cleaning of the Bar and associated areas providing excellent customer service at all times. Experience of working within a similar fast paced Bar/food service environment is essential. As a member of our team, you will have a positive and energetic approach and be a colleague that the team look forward to working with and building strong relationships with others to accomplish tasks and shared goals. You will have a keen eye for detail and aim to deliver exceptional operational service and standards at all times and particularly in demanding and busy service times. Available positions:

Post 1 – Hours of work are 10 per week, (includes 2 shifts/5 hours mainly Saturday and Sunday) working on a rotation basis between the hours of 6.00pm and 11.00pm, and occasionally between 1-6pm on a permanent fractional open-ended contract for 30.6 weeks of the year. Flexibility to work a range of shifts will be required.

Post 2 - Hours of work are 15 per week (5 days out of 7 to be arranged mainly Monday to Friday to include regular weekends) working on a rotation basis between the hours of 5.00pm-11.30pm, on a permanent fractional open-ended contract for 30.6 weeks of the year. Flexibility to work a range of shifts will be required.

Please note – Post 2 is a core position - Full flexibility to work a range of varying shifts/work pattern is required which includes working outside of term and university vacation periods.
