Location: University Park, University of Nottingham
The role supports the day‑to‑day running of university buildings, including:
- Pottering
- Setting up classrooms and meeting rooms
- Serving as the first point of contact for visitors
- Managing building security and fire‑alarm testing
Other duties include:
- Collection and delivery of internal mail
- Reporting maintenance issues
- Inspecting fixtures and fittings
- Ensuring excellent customer service at all times
Candidate profile:
- Experience in a customer‑facing environment with some supervisory experience
- Familiarity with setting up meeting rooms
- Knowledge of testing fire and security alarm systems
- Cleaning experience within a similar environment

Hours: 36.25 per week, mainly Monday to Friday between 1:45 and 10:00 pm; flexibility required. Estate and Facilities training will run Monday to Friday mornings.
All staff at Levels 1‑3 eligible for unsocial hours and weekend working enhancements: a 15% uplift for work between 10 pm and 6 am and on Saturday or Sunday.
