We are looking to appoint an Associate Director of Asset Management to join our Estates and Facilities team. This is a pivotal senior leadership role with significant reach and impact across the University estate. Reporting to the Deputy Chief Property & Facilities Officer, you will be a key member of the Estates Operations leadership team and will deputise for the Deputy Chief Property & Facilities Officer across the wider operational portfolio when required.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing robust asset management, maintenance and lifecycle investment strategies, managing significant investment and operational budgets to ensure our estate of over 450 buildings remains safe, compliant, sustainable and able to support the University's strategic objectives. A key focus of the role will be leading the continued transformation and modernisation of our maintenance and asset management services, improving operational performance, customer experience and value for money.

Leading a large team across maintenance and technical services, you will be instrumental in shaping and driving a high-performing service culture and ensuring systems, processes and delivery models are best in class. You will have a track record of senior leadership within Asset Management, gained within large and complex estates, together with significant experience in planning and managing built asset maintenance activities. This is a permanent post. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week); however, job share arrangements may be considered. It is the expectation that a minimum of 3 days per week will be worked on site.
