The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to teaching and curriculum development for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of Civil Engineering, play a lead role in collaborative research projects, and conduct ongoing original research and publications in the area of Construction Management.
Candidates must have:
- A PhD in Construction Management or a closely related field
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
- Knowledge and experience of construction project management
Desirable qualifications include:
- Experience supervising PhD and MSc students
- Teaching, tutorial or laboratory work at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in an international English‑speaking institution
- A proven record of research excellence with publications in peer‑reviewed journals
- Securing research funding
- Teaching experience including curriculum development and leadership in academic programmes
The post will initially be offered on a fixed‑term contract for five years starting October 2026 and may be extended by mutual agreement.
