What will you be doing?

As part of our Frontline Services team, you will work in a dedicated, customer-facing team, based across one of our four Student Service Centres. The focus of your role will be delivering a high-quality service to support students throughout their time at the university. You will provide support to students on live chat, on our enquiry management system, or in person, depending on what the student needs.

As a member of our Customer Service team, you will be motivated to deliver high standards of service.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys working as part of a team
  • Has a customer focussed approach
  • Likes solving problems and finding solutions
  • Is confident finding information from a variety of sources, such as the university’s website
  • Will quickly become an expert on key services, seeking out and sharing best practice
  • Can communicate confidently

You will be required to work on campus every day to support the in-person student experience; this role does not allow for hybrid working.

There are 2 positions available. Work patterns fall between 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday. Our vacancies are permanent, full-time posts (36.25 hours); however, applications from candidates wishing to work less than full time (to a minimum of 29 hours per week) will be considered. Job share applications may also be considered. Please specify in your application if you wish to work less than full time and the number of preferred hours.
