About The Role – We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Administrative Assistant to join the Assessment Delivery team within the School of Medicine. This varied role supports the administration and delivery of Clinical and Professional Skills Assessments (CPSAs) and other practical assessments for undergraduate medical students. Working closely with colleagues, students, examiners and education providers, you will coordinate a wide range of activities including examiner administration, assessment preparation, training events, data checking, meeting support and examination logistics. You will also support the financial administration associated with assessment delivery, including processing examiner payment claims, raising purchase orders, receiving goods and services through the University's finance systems, and coordinating catering and other operational requirements. Working accurately and efficiently, you will help ensure that assessment activities are supported by effective financial processes and robust record keeping. In addition, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of assessments on examination days, helping to ensure a professional and positive experience for students, examiners and colleagues alike.

About The Team - You will join a friendly and collaborative Assessment Delivery team within the Education Centre. The team is responsible for administering and delivering a range of assessments that support student progression throughout the medical programme. During busy assessment periods, team members work together to ensure examinations, results processing and related activities are delivered efficiently and to a high standard. The team will be largely based in the Clinical Exams Centre.

About You - You will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will be confident communicating with a wide range of stakeholders and capable of handling sensitive information with discretion. Experience of working in an office environment, using Microsoft Office applications, responding to enquiries and working to deadlines is essential. You will also be proactive, adaptable and committed to delivering excellent customer service.

What We Offer - We offer a friendly, diverse and supportive working environment together with opportunities for professional development. You will benefit from a generous holiday allowance, including 27 days (or pro rata) plus standard bank holidays and five university closure days including closure between Christmas and New Year. Access to a wide range of staff benefits and discounts, health and wellbeing initiatives, travel schemes and excellent pension provision. As part of a leading university, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills while contributing to an important area of student education and assessment.
