You’ll help run medical courses at the Royal Derby Hospital. Each day, you’ll support students and staff by organising events, managing emails, updating records, and helping with course materials. You’ll also help with careers fairs, student webinars, and meetings. This role is part of a friendly team working to make sure everything runs smoothly for medical students.

Start date: As soon as possible

End date: 23 October 2025

Working hours: 36.25 hours per week

Pay rate: £13.12 per hour plus holiday pay

Location: Derby Medical School, Royal Derby Hospital

Dress code: Smart Casual/Business Casual

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with the organisation and delivery of medical courses
  • Support students and staff by coordinating course activities
  • Manage and respond to emails and other communications
  • Update and maintain accurate records
  • Help prepare and distribute course materials
  • Support the planning and running of careers fairs, student webinars, and meetings

Skills and Experience Required

  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident and approachable when working with people
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to manage sensitive information with care and confidentiality
  • Comfortable working independently and using initiative
  • Experience in administration or working with students is an advantage
