Salary

£24,084 to £24,701 per annum based on a 36.25-hour contract / pro rata if applicable. Posts are initially offered at a minimum salary point of £12.78 per hour, with progression to a higher salary point (£12.96 per hour) through annual incremental pay rise.

About the role/team

An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the team in 'The Club House' located in the David Ross Sports Village. The Club House offers a branded coffee experience alongside fresh, nutritious food served every lunch and evening. We are looking for people who are passionate about food and delivering great service for every customer and will proactively go out of their way to exceed customer expectations.

About you

You will have a positive and energetic approach, be a colleague that the team looks forward to working with, and build strong relationships with others to accomplish tasks and shared goals. You will have an eye for detail and aim to deliver the exceptional operational standards required, particularly at busy service times.

Available positions

Hours of work 15 per week (2 shifts per week, mainly Saturday and Sunday) between 7:00am and 7:30pm, on a permanent 52-week rolling contract. Flexibility will be required. These positions will attract a 15% pay uplift allowance for hours worked at the weekend.

Out of terms working hours

Out of term time the facility will operate adjusted opening hours to accommodate events. Colleagues will be expected to work on a different working pattern, usually between 7:00am and 5:30pm. Flexibility will be required; further information will be provided at the interview stage.

Training and Interviews

The successful candidates for these posts will be expected to attend the Estates and Facilities training courses which run Monday to Friday mornings. The interviews for these posts are informal and will take no longer than 20 minutes.
