Catering Assistant (Multiple Positions, Part-Time) at University of Nottingham
Area: Catering – Delivered Catering | Location: University Park
Salary: £23,751 to £24,360 per annum based on a 36.25-hour contract or pro rata if applicable. Posts are initially offered at the minimum salary point £12.60 per hour, with progression to £12.96 per hour through an annual incremental pay rise.

Details of the roles
- Post 1 – Part-time, 10 hours per week, 2 days out of 7 to be arranged, mainly Saturday and Sunday between 11:00 and 13:30 and 17:00 and 19:30 for 34 weeks of the year. Flexibility will be required.
- Post 2 – Part-time, 15 hours per week, 2 days out of 7 to be arranged, mainly Saturday and Sunday between 11:00 and 19:30 for 34 weeks of the year. Flexibility will be required.
Responsibilities
- Operate the dishwashing machine and perform pot wash/dishwash duties.
- Clean pans and undertake general cleaning within the kitchen area.
- Serve food and beverages as required and support busy service periods with a positive, energetic approach.
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues to achieve tasks and maintain high operational standards.
