The University of Northampton Enterprises Ltd is looking to recruit a Planned and Statutory Maintenance Supervisor. They will ensure statutory compliance of the built environment and deliver planned preventative maintenance of all building systems through both in house and contractor teams.

The post holder will manage the planned maintenance team and subcontractors to ensure work orders are allocated appropriately and planned preventative and statutory maintenance is completed in a timely fashion, within budget and to all appropriate health and safety standards.

The post holder will work closely with the reactive maintenance team and cover for the reactive maintenance supervisor as required.

About you

The successful candidate will have;

  • Demonstrable experience in running statutory and planned maintenance programmes to time and budget
  • Experience of working in a complex and multi-disciplinary environment
  • Experience of managing a multi-skilled workforce to enable maximum efficiency
  • Demonstrable experience of dealing with M & E critical incidents to resolution
  • Experience of implementing and working with a CAFM system to implement planned schedules of work
  • Ability to set and monitor budgets and work with contractors to deliver value for money
  • Integrity and professionalism, demonstrating a commitment to ethical standards, confidentiality, and the University’s values of inclusivity, trust, sustainability and aspiration

Qualifications

Essential;

  • Electrical / Mechanical qualification to minimum NVQ Level 3 / time served equivalent
  • IOSH / NEBOSH Qualification

Desirable;

  • Management Qualification ILM / BIFM/HNC /HND /degree
  • L8 Management Qualification
  • High Voltage Management Qualification
