The University of Northampton is seeking two new members of its Board of Governors. The Board provides strategic oversight and is the steward and trustee of the University’s long-term sustainability and resources.

What will you be doing?

As a governor, you will build professional networks, collaborate with governors and staff, and build your own professional experience, profile and impact. In return, your skills, experience and broader perspective can add real value to the University achieving its key purpose of positive social impact. The Board’s role is to approve the University’s strategy and ensure that the University is operated effectively to achieve that strategy. The Board is the steward and trustee of the University’s long-term sustainability and resources. Our current strategy runs to 2027. Over the next year, the University will be developing a new strategy against a challenging financial outlook. That’s why we are particularly seeking candidates with experience in business change, diversification and innovation, and candidates with strategic experience in higher or further education.
