The post holder will be responsible for leading the University's Events Team, driving the delivery of our UK student recruitment plan and ensuring the key KPIs relating to recruitment and event attendee satisfaction are met. You will lead on activity relating to Open Days, Applicant Days, student interviews (face to face and virtual) and other University events, both developing and implementing the UON student recruitment events strategy. The primary focus is to support recruitment objectives whilst being mindful of our Access and Participation Plan commitments, ensuring that potential students who wish to visit our campus can do so.

We understand this may vary between different areas of the university as well as from one person to another. The ideal candidate will have an excellent knowledge of both the UK Higher Education sector and event management and delivery to both support students' Higher Education aspirations and University recruitment. They will have organised and delivered high quality face to face and virtual events, with experience of managing a team to successfully achieve challenging KPIs. Able to work to multiple, tight deadlines the ideal candidate will be organised, with proven communication and interpersonal skills.
