As Student Recruitment and Outreach Coordinator you will connect future students with life-changing opportunities. This is a hands-on role focused on planning, delivery and evaluation of high-quality engagement, outreach, and recruitment activities across the Hunter, Newcastle, Central Coast, Sydney and regional NSW.
In this role you will:
- Plan and deliver targeted student recruitment and engagement initiatives that influence application preferences and meet enrolment targets.
- Coordinate major events such as Open Days, school visits, campus tours and regional programs, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
- Build strong relationships with schools, TAFE and community partners to expand pathways and enhance the University’s profile.
- Provide expert advice on programs, entry requirements and pathways, and manage prospective student enquiries.
- Capture and analyse data to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment activities and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Supervise Student Ambassadors and contribute to marketing content and campaigns.
Both positions are full time and will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal land). The fixed term position is until May 2027.

The remuneration for this position is Higher Education Worker Level 6 + 17% superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.
