As Educational Technology Assistant you will play a key role in supporting academic and professional staff by problem-solving and anticipating user needs within the virtual learning environment (VLE). You’ll provide user support, helping to resolve technical issues, improve user experience, and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of learning technologies.

In this role you will:

  • Respond to support requests and troubleshoot issues raised by academic and professional staff, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Deliver clear and helpful guidance to users navigating the VLE, both verbally and in writing, to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
  • Assist with system testing and reporting to support decisions around technology upgrades and improvements.
  • Provide training and advice to staff on using digital tools in line with established processes and best practices.

This continuing position is full time and will be located at the Callaghan Campus (Awabakal land).

You will have:

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and deliver high-quality support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience working with online technologies and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

The remuneration for this position is Higher Education Worker Level 4 + 17% superannuation and is commensurate with skills and experience.
