Industrial Technology Services of Chesterfield is seeking skilled Carpenters who can successfully contribute and accomplish construction projects in the commercial and industrial settings. Must be experienced in carpentry, steel studs, ceiling grid and doors. We are looking for individuals who are seeking a stable and friendly workplace. Consistent year round work. Much of the work is done inside industrial and manufacturing facilities.
Job Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans
- Prepare the layout of the project
- Plan and execute construction projects that include, but not limited to, framing walls, drywall hanging and finishing, acoustical ceilings, door and window installation, demolition, cabinetry install and handrails.
- Must maintain a safe work environment; adhering to all safety work policies
- Set up, use and maintain tools
- Maintain a clean work area
Job Requirements
- A strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
- Framing experience with steel studs.
- Knowledge of Building Code and ADA guidelines.
- Drywall hanging experience.
- Trim work experience.
- Drop ceiling installation and repair experience.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
