The Role
The Head of Property is a new role reporting into the Director of Residential and Commercial Services. The purpose of the role is to:
- Ensure that the University properly discharges its responsibilities as the freeholder of a number of strategic commercial and residential properties in Bloomsbury and elsewhere and as landlord to a number of University of London federation members and other tenants.
- Maximise external earnings from the University’s estate, improving asset value and supporting commercial operations.
- Provide strong leadership to the Asset and Space Management teams and Conferencing and Events teams, coaching and sharing knowledge, and championing collaborative working to deliver customer-focused services across the estate.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Asset Management and Commercial Operations
- Engagement, communication and collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Financial Management of the commercial property and conferencing budgets, maximising income opportunities.
- Provide professional knowledge and support to internal stakeholders.
- Leadership to the Property and Conference and Event teams.
