The University of London is the UK’s largest provider of international distance and online learning and the convenor of a federation of 17 London-based universities. To date it supports around 250,000 learners and 50,000 academic and professional staff.
Role: Alumni Engagement Manager – responsible for strengthening lifelong connections between the University of London and its global alumni community. You will lead the development and delivery of alumni engagement programmes, create voluntary opportunities for alumni to support careers activity, international engagement, institutional reputation and philanthropic readiness, and contribute to selected events in the UK and abroad. You will act as a visible representative of the University at alumni meetings, steward volunteers, and foster positive relationships across diverse regions and cultures. You will record activity and impact in our CRM, use data to inform planning, and demonstrate the value of alumni contributions.
You must be an organised, confident communicator, able to manage relationships across seniority levels. Experience in alumni engagement, volunteer management or stakeholder-focused roles is required, along with strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
