Overview

This is an exciting time for a new colleague to join the University of Liverpool\'s triple-accredited Management School (ULMS). ULMS is one of the largest Schools in the University, with the Professional Services team supporting over 5000 undergraduate and postgraduate students and over 200 academic staff. This role is an integral part of the Management School\'s Student Experience Team, which supports all aspects of the student journey from registration through to graduation, across a diverse international cohort of students.

ULMS has 3,500 undergraduates and 1,000 postgraduates studying across over 40 programmes of study (and c.350 modules). The role opportunity is to be a member of the Assessment and Registration Team, which sits within the School\'s overall Student Experience Team. The role holder will provide specific administrative support for staff and students including:

Responsibilities

  • Close liaison with academic and support colleagues in the School and other internal departments to ensure a high standard of student experience and dissemination of assessment and registration related effective practice;
  • Co-ordination of administrative arrangements, including the planning of work and the delegation of tasks, as appropriate, to other members of the team;
  • Representing the School to all levels of enquirer and responding to many routine enquiries on behalf of the team;
  • Taking part in policy development processes in relation to the Student Experience team.

You will work closely with other members of the team (currently 14 colleagues) who support the School\'s undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and will report to the team coordinators. The role will be based in the Management School at the University of Liverpool (Chatham Building).

Qualifications

You should have 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language and a good level of numeracy.
