LOCUM VETERINARY NURSE IN PATIENT CARE (PART-TIME) (MATERNITY COVER)
Grade 5 – £29,588 to £33,951 per annum (pro rata) plus holiday supplement, pension and additional benefits.
Role details
- Hours of work: Part‑time – 22 hours per week, Monday & Tuesday, 7am – 7pm (11 hours) – 0.6286 FTE; additional overtime possible.
- Tenure: Fixed term to cover a maternity leave period from 7 September 2026 to 6 September 2027.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing support in the Small Animal Teaching Hospital at the Leahurst Campus, Wirral.
Deliver out‑of‑hours nursing care, supporting ICU, wards, pharmacy, theatre and other hospital areas.
Maintain rota flexibility, covering weekends, bank holidays and University closed days.
Qualifications
Qualified Veterinary Nurse with relevant experience.
Excellent veterinary nursing and interpersonal skills.
