We are seeking a committed Theatre Technician to join our busy, state-of-the-art Small Animal Teaching Hospital. This full-time role is essential to maintaining the smooth operation of our surgical theatres and supporting our clinical teams. As the hospital's sole Theatre Technician, you will play a key part in ensuring high-quality surgical service delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining infection control standards
- Managing equipment and stock
- Coordinating theatre workflows
- Supporting surgical teams
- Contributing to the teaching of veterinary students
- Overseeing equipment maintenance
- Instrument handling
- Assisting with billing processes
We are looking for an organised, proactive individual with strong teamwork skills and a commitment to excellent patient and theatre support. Experience in a veterinary or clinical environment is beneficial but not essential.
