SENIOR LECTURER IN EQUINE ANAESTHESIA
University of Liverpool – Department of Equine Clinical Science, School of Veterinary Science.
We are seeking a veterinary surgeon (MRCVS or eligible to be registered by start of appointment) with extensive experience in equine anaesthesia in a hospital setting. This academic position centres on clinical teaching and clinical research.
Responsibilities
- Provide and develop clinical services in equine anaesthesia in the Equine Hospital.
- Develop undergraduate and postgraduate student experience in teaching.
- Carry out clinical research to support teaching and clinical activities.
Qualifications
- MRCVS or eligible to be registered by start of appointment.
- Extensive experience of equine anaesthesia in a hospital setting.
- Specialist anaesthesia training or eligibility for Diploma in Veterinary Anaesthesia & Analgesia (ECVAA/ACVAA or equivalent).
- Strong interest and experience in academic teaching and research.
