We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Resource Planner to support the delivery of reactive maintenance services across the University estate. This post is fixed term until 4 August 2028.
About the Role
Working within the Service Hub, you will play a key role in managing maintenance activity from initial request through to completion, using the University's CAFM system (Planon). The Service Hub acts as the central point for receiving, triage and managing maintenance work, ensuring jobs are efficiently planned, monitored, and delivered to a high standard.
- Planning and scheduling workloads to inhouse and contractor technicians
- Receiving and processing maintenance requests
- Managing jobs from enquiry through to completion
- Maintaining accurate system data and records
- Monitoring job queues and supporting service performance reporting
- Can manage workload effectively, making decisions in line with risk, priorities, and budget constraints
This is a fast-paced operational role where you will be required to prioritise work effectively, resolve issues, and support the smooth flow of maintenance activity across a large and diverse estate.
