Sport Liverpool delivers the non-academic sporting offer across the University. We are responsible for sports facilities, the sports scholarship programme, Athletic Union sports clubs, sport and physical activity participation programmes.
Sport Liverpool is looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and customer-focused Lifeguard to join our team. You will play a key role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our customers, while providing an exceptional standard of customer service across our busy sports and fitness facilities.
As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for maintaining effective pool supervision, responding appropriately to incidents and emergencies, carrying out routine safety checks, and ensuring that our facilities remain safe, clean, and welcoming. You will also support the smooth day-to-day operation of the centre, working closely with colleagues across our wider Sport Liverpool team. You will play a key role in the implementation of the University of Liverpool Active Campus strategy by helping set up and support a range of activities across the sports centre, including lane swimming sessions, AU training, competitions and events.
Applicants must hold a current NPLQ qualification, with all required training and qualifications up to date. You will be required to work on an alternating shift pattern which includes evenings and weekends.
