The University of Liverpool’s IT Services Department is recruiting a Finance System Integration Developer to join its Finance Systems Team. The team designs, develops, integrates, supports, and maintains systems that underpin the University’s Finance functions, including both in-house solutions and third-party systems such as Unit4 ERP. Working in a complex and integrated environment, the team also supports a range of related business applications and responds flexibly to changing requirements.

In this role, you will work across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and solution design through development, testing, implementation, and ongoing support. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across IT Services, Professional Services, and academic departments to deliver high-quality, reliable systems that support the University’s strategic priorities.

You will have experience developing database-driven applications and web-based services, with an understanding of good UX/UI principles. The role primarily involves Oracle databases and PL/SQL, alongside modern web technologies such as JavaScript, AJAX, and Bootstrap, and requires an open and adaptable approach to technology.

This post is fixed term until 31 March 2028.
