Job Responsibilities:

  1. Provide frontline customer care and library support across all library spaces (physical and digital).
  2. Work with colleagues to create and manage online content.
  3. Actively engage and interact with library users and colleagues.
  4. Focus on one of the following areas and provide expertise to support library services:
    • Operations and Service Continuity
    • Library Circulation and Membership
    • Support for Teaching, Learning and Outreach
    • Accessibility
  5. Have experience of dealing with the public in a busy service environment.
  6. Thrive by working collaboratively.
  7. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Have strong enquiry management abilities.
  9. Enjoy building relationships and leading a team.
  10. Qualifications: Minimum of three GCSEs or equivalent, at grade C or above, including English and Maths.
