Assessments

Assessments are exclusively through online assignments rather than examinations. You will be assessed through a range of activities, including written assignments, discussion forum participation and journal entries.

Entry requirements

All applications will be considered on a case‐by‐case basis. Applicants should possess either:

  • a degree in any subject equivalent to a UK Bachelor's degree (2:2 or above), or
  • at least 2 years experience in employment, which would normally be of a technical nature, comparable with the award of a bachelor's degree.

All applicants must have reached a minimum required standard of English language and are required to provide evidence of this. Successful applicants from outside the UK must have an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.5 overall or equivalent.

Fees for the academic year 2025/26:

The tuition fee is fully inclusive of all costs: teaching materials, core textbooks, assessments and resits. If you live in England, you may be eligible for a postgraduate loan to cover some of the costs of your degree.

Scholarships and Discounts

Corporate discounts of 10% are available for organisations looking to invest in the skills of three or more employees. An Executive Scholarship of 15% is available for our January 2026 intake. A UK Scholarship of 20% is available for students residing in the United Kingdom, who enrol on the January 2026 intake of our full master’s awards.

The MSc programme is accredited by the BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, for the purposes of meeting the further learning academic requirement for registration as a Chartered IT Professional.
