The School of Natural Sciences at the University of Lincoln seeks to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Human Animal Interaction to support teaching and scholarship across undergraduate and postgraduate provision.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to teaching across a range of animal behaviour and welfare‑related subjects at both undergraduate and postgraduate taught levels and play an active role in curriculum development.
- Engage in research appropriate to your career stage and contribute to the School’s vibrant academic environment and REF2029.
- Provide student support and contribute to companion animal teaching.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in Human Animal Interaction and Human Behaviour Change as it pertains to animal behaviour and welfare.
- Strong research record in companion, farm, laboratory and/or zoo animal welfare.
- Proven ability to teach the above areas commensurate with career stage.
- Willingness and ability to contribute to companion animal teaching.
- Connections with animal industries or animal protection charities are desirable.
