The Lincoln Institute for Rural and Coastal Health (LIRCH) – part of the University of Lincoln – seeks an efficient, intuitive, and results‑driven Project Administrator. The role involves providing vital administrative support to a dynamic project team, ensuring a highly organised, intuitive, and proactive approach to post‑award research activities. You will support coordination, communication, and reporting across the programme, manage stakeholder and partner enquiries, assist with finance, governance, and compliance processes, and maintain project integrity while advising the LIRCH academic team.

LIRCH is the UK’s first integrated and multidisciplinary research institute dedicated to rural and coastal health. Supported by £10.9 million from Research England’s Expanding Excellence in England (E3) fund, LIRCH is ensuring resources are in place to support research sustainability. The Institute brings together expertise from across disciplines to tackle place‑based health inequalities affecting rural, coastal, and remote communities, collaborating with communities and the next generation of researchers to develop future leaders in this vital area.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities independently with accuracy and efficiency
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience supporting projects or research activities (desirable)
  • A proactive, problem‑solving approach
