Role and Responsibilities
- Support teaching and scholarship across undergraduate and postgraduate provision and the work of the University of Lincoln Animal Behaviour Clinic.
- As a MRCVS veterinarian registered to practise in the UK with expertise in Behavioural Medicine, teach extensively on the MSc in Clinical Animal Behaviour and take over management of the clinic.
- Collaborate within a small clinical team comprising a European Specialist, Residents of the ECAWBM and Non-Veterinary Behaviourists, one holding a CCAB accreditation, and alongside the wider School of Natural Sciences staff for interdisciplinary collaborations.
- Engage in scholarship and/or professional practice appropriate to your career stage, contributing to the School’s vibrant academic environment.
- Contribute to teaching and student support; experience with business or practice management is desirable.
Qualifications and Experience
- MRCVS veterinary qualification registered to practise in the UK; expertise in Behavioural Medicine is desirable or willingness to work towards a higher qualification or accreditation.
- Experience in teaching or clinical mentoring is desirable.
- Business or practice management experience is desirable.
