The Lincoln Medical School is at an exciting stage of development with medical students on the six-year Lincoln programme arriving in September 2025. This post is core to the delivery of high-quality medical education and the development of a comprehensive health research strategy. Applicants should have a strong track record of health research with a proven ability to deliver high quality, REF returnable outputs. Applicants will also have experience of leading research teams and be on a path to application for a Professorial role in the next two to three years.
Experience of teaching medical or healthcare students is also important for this role and a background in biochemistry, microbiology, immunology or behavioural sciences is beneficial but not essential.
You will work closely with colleagues across the wider University and the NHS as we work towards the development of clinical trials delivery.
