You’ll lead a team of Residential Advisors and Team Leaders to deliver a dynamic calendar of social events, wellbeing initiatives, and engagement campaigns that enhance the student experience. From planning arrivals and inductions to managing proactive and reactive student support, you’ll ensure our residents feel welcomed, connected, and cared for throughout their time with us. You’ll also play a key role in promoting the University’s values and services through events, campaigns, and collaborative work with internal and external partners.

This is a varied and people-focused role that combines leadership, creativity, and operational oversight. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of wellbeing support, managing behaviour concerns, and maintaining high standards of service and safety. Working across both The City and The Village sites, you’ll help shape a positive residential culture that supports student success and belonging.

About you

You’ll be an enthusiastic and compassionate individual with experience in student support, community engagement, or residential life. You’ll bring strong leadership and organisational skills, along with the ability to manage events, communications, and wellbeing initiatives. Your background may include working in higher education, hospitality, or youth services, and you’ll be confident using digital tools to engage with diverse audiences.

You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, people-facing environment and be passionate about student wellbeing and inclusion. With excellent communication and problem-solving skills, you’ll be ready to support students through both everyday challenges and more complex situations.
