About the Maintenance Technician role
We have an excellent opportunity for a M&E Technician to join our Estates Team. You will play a vital role in reactive maintenance and the compliance of building services engineering systems for the University of Leicester.
In this varied role, you will be responsible for the completion of reactive maintenance tasks through approved contractors. Using industry contractor management processes and procedures, you will ensure the delivery of works to agreed timescales, quality and budget.
About you
As the successful candidate, you will have a strong background in a building services engineering trade. You will have a good knowledge of health and safety alongside, good organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines, with a strong stakeholder focus. You will be able to evidence your formal qualifications and have a drive and willingness to learn.
We will provide a supportive environment for you to train and develop your skills.
