Working closely with fellow advisors, administrators, the Director(s) of Student Support, Heads of Year and wider student support services, you will help ensure that students receive appropriate guidance, support and signposting throughout their studies.

You will play an important role in developing and implementing strategies that enhance pastoral support across the medical programme, while also advising colleagues and liaising with central University support services where appropriate. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to a supportive and inclusive educational environment that enables students to thrive academically and personally.

About you

You will be an empathetic and approachable professional with the ability to assess students’ pastoral needs, develop effective support plans and take appropriate action where concerns arise. You will be confident working independently, providing advice to colleagues, managing sensitive situations with discretion and contributing to the ongoing development of pastoral support services.
